Once and done my ass!!!

These weed killers claim---spray it once and you're done for the season. HA! I've already sprayed twice and I was just out enjoying my yard when what to my wondering eyes should appear?...but Mr Weed ...Mrs Weed and all their darn brats!

Not a question ....but a tip....

Ever heard of GOO B GONE? Can't be without it.

I had a fairly large area rug on my sun porch over white tile. I kept thinking I am going to take it up so maybe it'll be easeir to clean out there...(dirtiest spot in the place)...even with the windows closed I am always inundated with ants (maybe cause they like the dirt of my plants).

Well, when I went to remove this rug today, a good deal of the backing had literally melted to the tile!! OMG: a mess. That is how hot it gets out there in the summer!

So I spray the hell out of that glued on backing with the GOO B GONE after struggling to peel the rug off the tile and then scrap with my metal kitchen spatula..worked on this on and off for hours.

I could not think of anything else handy that would get that gluey backing to melt enough to scrape...no more rugs for me out there!! Try it.

I desperately need new wall to wall carpeting that i had laid in early 2002 in the two bedrooms..it's too far gone filthy after many professional cleanings and I found another area rug someone was throwing away out by the dumpsters...I laid that one down on top of my carpeting upside down so that the jute is what is walked on now....looks ok too.
