Would you be upset with your neighbor if he let his dog poop in your yard? What would you do?

I have a 9 ft portion of my yard that is unfenced because this is near where I keep my garbage cans. Once a week when I put out the trash for collection I had to avoid all this dog poop. I've been doing this all winter. Finally, I decided to ask my neighbor(2 doors over)about it because I know he walks his dog down the alley. His response was "Oh yeah, I was going to clean it up when the snow melted." I don't know rather to laugh at the stupidity or be mad.

Do credit air companies really work?

I'm in debt but I pay my debt off little by little each pay period. If I keep doing this I'll be owing money to my credit card for at least 7 years. I keep seeing all theses commercials about debt consolidation and being able to pay off debt in a shorter period of time. But I just can't help but think they are scams. Has anyone ever used one of these companies?

Why do you put really annoying ads on first entry into your site that you have to actively skip ?

Happy with ads that appear on screen and I have a choice about viewing. Not happy about being forced to watch ad movies on entry into site.

How does one get red clay stains out of cream colored carpet?

We live in a new home with builder's grade carpet. Our back yard in not yet fully grassed so the kids and dogs of course dirty the carpet. I have cleaned the carpet myself and have had it professionally cleaned but the Georgia red clay tint stays. Is there any way to get it to look clean again or am I doomed until we can replace it?

Washing steak knives in the dishwasher.

Does washing steak knives in the dishwasher make them dull? My mother seems to think so, therefore they are washed by hand. I have asked her how she came up with that idea, but she can't recall.

I know there are not little brushes or things that come up and cause an effect that would do damage to them. Please help us settle this as it has been a debate in our family for a long time. I see nothing wrong in washing them in the dishwasher myself and have never had any problem.

P.S.-The handles are heavy duty plastic.

Update: March 12, 2010.
These are the Ginsu knives, I have quality Chef's knives and other devices I use and they are hand-washed and dried immediately so they won't get rusted. Thanks

Update: March 12, 2010.
These are not the quality knives you would find in a steakhouse or any other restaurant for that matter. These are the Ginsu or something like that kind with hard plastic handles.

Update: March 12, 2010.
I never put my chef knives in the washer, because they are expensive knives. But these are Ginsu knifes that she got off a T.V add many years ago and you can see the wearing of them even though they are washed by hand.

My daughter wants to paint her room yellow and turquoise. HELP!I don't want to ruin it!

Basic Info: Her room is 13 by 13, her bed is a chocolate brown leather double, and the rest of her furniture (shelves, desk ect.) is the same deep chocolate brown color. She likes sunny happy atmospheres and shes a teenager. How do I paint her room turquoise and yellow in a way that won't overdo or ruin it? She is willing to do a pattern of those colors with white or grey included. Should I do squares or walls different colors? How do I paint it right?
