I'll go with the desert. My years of exploring the Mojave have taught me a whole bunch about how easy it actually is to survive out there once you learn the rules. Did you know you can make water out of the ground with only a piece of clear plastic,a cup and a small stone?

All those jungle people have no idea how deadly the Amazon jungle is. For one thing you can't even walk without a machete. The water is all full of disease and parasites. Mosquitoes are everywhere. So plan on getting Malaria. Jaguars will hunt and kill humans. And they swim just fine so that plan won't work. The canopy prevents effective navigation with the stars. So that leaves the sun at dawn and dusk as your compass.

The desert is actually full of things you can eat. And anywhere you see any plants means water is nearby. You just have to dig for it. We could be enjoying some tasty Lizard kebabs with prickly pear and a nice cup of Mormon Tea. Assuming they have similar plants there.

Guess, I'll pick the jungle cuz I might have more of a chance of meeting some pygmies there who want me for soup. Rather be eaten then left for the buzzards to pick over. I might survive for a few hours if I was lucky

Amazon juingle......i've taken quite a bit of survival training....so, i think i could live for quite a while.....poisonous snake bite or infections to a cut would be the most likely cause of death.....

It looks like the Andes out there.

The icy Andes. I'd last five minutes - I'm acclimated to an extremely hot climate! From everything I've read, death from freezing is relatively peaceful.

The Amazon for sure. There is a plentiful food and water source. Life expectancy indefinite unless a snake attacks or I die a miserable death by jungle fever :oS

Jungle. There's more people living in the jungle than the desert or mountains. Finding civilization can be accomplished by following the river.

I'd rather be warm and avoid creepy crawly things so I'll go to the desert and dehydrate myself to death within a matter of days.

It is a conundrum but I'm going to have to go jungle-girl.

As much as I hate snakes and pretty much anything that slithers, my best chance would be in a jungle with plenty to eat - as long as you know the flora and fauna - and water (probably contaminated) and WARMTH.

There isn't a whole lot to eat nor much water in the Sahara but you don't have to worry about frostbite and gangrene, so, you'd have that going for you but NO.

The Andes suck. Pretty to look at but not somewhere you want to get stuck, however, I did go to Arctic Survival School.

Still a big NO. If I'm going to die I want to die warm but "justp." made a good point: Freezing to death isn't that bad compared to - you know - a slow and painful death but who says I'm dying? ;)

If I met my end in the jungle it would probably be from a snakebite because I've gone out of my way to kill lots of them and that karma can be a bitch.

Amazon = dying of disease. Hello giant bugs!

Desert = dying of burns/thirst.

Andes = dying of col/starvation

The jungle...been there, done that. There is more to eat, more material available to build shelter and a lot more water than the other two locales.

Water, shelter and food....the three things most necessary for survival. (Fire is actually down on the list.)

I will take the icy Andes. At least if I cannot survive, I will freeze to death...which is said to be one of the "best" ways to go.

Wouldn't pick the jungle or desert, because the tarantulas might get me.

tough choice..all are so wonderful(sarcasm)..I would choose the icy Andes and hope that I would die quickly from hypothermia..they say there is a 'euphoric' feeling towards the end.

I'd rather be lost....with my thoughts, in serenity and relative obscurity....in a loft home along the beach, windows facing the ocean, sand dunes, surf crashing ashore, the scent of the ocean, a gentle breeze....

Whether it was only minutes, hours.....even days that go by, as long as my moments are my happiest pleasures, all would not be lost, and I would die a happy embrace...

Either the Andes or the Amazon. The mountains are beautiful. I love the mountains and used to hike a lot in Colorado, I might actually be able to survive for a while and if I did end up dying of cold - that's a fairly painless way to go. But, if I had to die, if I got killed by a jaguar at least I'd be feeding a beautiful big cat - so the Amazon would be OK, too. Plus there are beautiful birds, flowers, etc., in the jungle so it would be cool, and there is probably a lot to eat and water to drink and I wouldn't need shelter from the cold - but there are also a lot of deadly things. I would not like to get eaten by piranha or bitten by a deadly snake, if I was going to die - make it a jaguar. One deadly bite to the back of my neck, and I'm gone.

I would NOT want to be lost in the Sahara. Sand in my shoes, sunburn, thirst and dehydration and I have no idea what there might be to eat... though the stars at night are probably GORGEOUS, no way do I want to be lost in the Sahara.

I'll take the jungle. In the Andes, you'll freeze to death in hours, there is no shelter, no source of food.
In the desert, you might last 3 days even with a canteen of water, but there is no shelter, no food.
In the jungle, there is water, you can construct crude shelter with trees and other vegatation. You can eat certain plants, kill small animals for food and eat bugs. You can built a fire if you have matches or a lighter with you. You could survive indefinitely, but you'd have be alert for poisionous spiders, big snakes and other creatures.

I'd not survive in the Amazon jungle which is full of venomous snakes, piranha-infested waters, wild animals, etc. I'd burn and die of thirst in the desert unless there was plenty of cacti. Forget the Andes, I wouldn't want to freeze to death and nothing grows there so I'd starve; so I'd have to choose the desert where even if I got sunburned I'd still have a chance to survive with desert plants. Estimated time of survival--2 weeks with the plants, 3-4 days without them or water.
