A Question for DIY'ers: , I preheated my oven to 400 deg. I didn't know there was a plastic tray ..I didn't know that a plastic, cafeteria-type tray had been placed in there. I grabbed pot holders and removed the tray. Now there are large drops of hardened plastic on the oven floor and the inside of the door. Is there something or some way to remove the plastic so that I can use the oven or am I going to have to purchase a new one? - Asked by Female, Who Cares? |

Try scraping it off with a putty knife or a razor knife.
