THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDAMANE AND MUKIMAME BEANS..............PLEA SE!

Update: July 25, 2011.
Thank you all! I do think the answer that said mukimame beans are hard is incorrect. I purchased a bag of them and they were soft and green just like the edaname and thats why I was confused. The right answer was they are the same bean, one more mature in the pod than the other. Thanks.......all

The common names for "green vegetable soybeans" are "edamame" (when sold in the pod) and "mukimame" (when sold as beans).
