You have to establish your basal metabolism based on your age and weight. Then calculate your calorie burn for just being alive. And from there you can figure out what you need (at least 1200 per day) at a minimum. Further, to lose weight one needs to cut back 500 calories from their usual daily consumption to lose weight and exercise moderately.

Eat less that what you have been, and drink only water.

You will lose weight.

If you really want an estimate for calorie intake, I would shoot for 2,000 calories, because of your age. Anything lower and you could feel weak and sick.
