Ummm, don't think so... just because his name is Tyler won't mean he'll lay tiles as his profession. Only boy name that I can think where it may work is the name Guy.

I hope so. My older daughter already is living up to the real meaning of her name . . . and it's the same name as a real empress, so that'd be pretty cool if she could be an empress someday. :)

No, but it sure determines if he's going get the shit kicked out of him by other boys in the playground. And NNG has WAY too much time on his hands to roll off that list of tylers.

I don't know. What does the name Tyler predict or stand for? I don't have a baby name book to look it up, so you should have supplied the info. One of my kid's is named Diane, goddess of the hunt. Well, that she ain't. So, I would say that what your kid becomes depends on how you raised him and what genes you and the father supplied. You can name a baby lion 'Kitty Kat', raise it around people and for a while it will be fine. But in the end it is still a lion, so the genes win out. Now if you have a boy and name him Sue, I would predict that he will grow up to be either a really big wuss or one mean S.O.B.!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO, but it can impact their life, often significantly.

ex. Kids with common names, who's parents give them "unusual" spellilngs. Megan for example, is often changed by "trendy" parents to be Mheghan, Meghan etc...

STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!

While it will not put your kid on the street, it WILL force them to correct, and subsequently have to spell out her name to every single government agency, teacher, boss, colleague, friend...basically ANYONE EVER that has to write down her name in an official capacity.

I have only known two Tylers.

One was a really messed up kid, into the whole Goth scene, hard drugs etc.

The other Tyler cannot hold down a job for very long, has a huge ego and anger issues.
