Depends on how much you use in your culinary arts.

They tend to lose their flavor and are no longer good after a few months. The manner in which they are stored influences their storage time, too.

For me, my culinary delights are worth using the best and freshest ingredients. I always get new fresh bay leaves each time my recipe calls for them.

At least six months. These days, most spices have an expiration date on the container. Check for one.
