LMAO!!! I know it is stooooo-pid, but....Why is it that when we're driving and looking for an address, we turn down the volume on the radio?

well I will tell you why I do that...because I can't hear the GPS voice telling me where to turn if I have the radio too loud...

Some of us (laughs) Have a one track mind and are easily distracted and cannot store short term memory into long term easily with excess stimuli...kids talking,laughing,radio or t.v. going.... I have a touch of ADD it seems and really need to concentrate fully without other things going on..multiple conversations,telephone ,someone talking in the same room while I am on the phone and a couple other things happening simultaneously... Other people are so blessed and can talk on the phone run an adding machine,admonish their child and let the dog out all nearly simultaneously.. Gosh what I wouldn't give to more focus power~~~ HA!

Because we need to 'concentrate'. I came upon some heavy fog driving to work yesterday and, um, I turned down the music. It was like an automatic thing. WTF! I thought, omg why did I do that?

Very funny! The only reason that comes to mind, is the fact it is easier to concentrate on finding the address.
