I think the Payday Loan companies are the worst. They practice preditory lending to the very people that need the most help and can afford it the least. They interest they charge those desperate people should be illegal.

Or the justice system. Today in my hometown and man was sentenced to 10 DAYS in jail for a hit and run that killed two little girls. He had majuanna in his system and he's hit other children in the past. He's also somewhat blind. They are ev

Pharmaceutical companies...Why???? We'll one huge reason is because they charge rediculous price's for some prescripts that cost pennies to produce. Many people suffer and even die b/c they cannot afford their prescript. Its the worst Evil of those you listed to me.

the insurance industry. why? because that industry is the epitomy of greed run amok. you may pay premiums for years without a claim, but, make one and you are history. they may pay and drop you (as in auto insurance) or they may claim that your claim is an act of god and not covered (as in flood, hurricane other natural disasters). it is an industry built on legal conniving of hardworking trusting people who would be better served if they put their money under their mattresses to save for a rainy day. at least they'd have the total of the premiums they had given to someone else to use for themselves when the need arose.

I am going to have to say it's a toss up between politics and the media because both try to 'control' the minds of others and both try to portray the 'ideal' while in effect, they are wreaking havoc in personal lives because people try so hard to abide by what the politicians and/or media portray as the 'ideal'...:D

POLITICS !!

Followed closely by Television and Movies.

Politics is all about the acquisition of POWER. And the more that those who seek it attain, the more liberty and freedom we lose. The system is broken and the "checks and balances" are not working, because any "person" can participate in the process, beyond what our Founders intended. I'm not talking about race, I'm talking about "legal persons" like corporations and unions, as opposed to "natural persons" like the people you sit and eat your meals with each day.

Because a "legal person" has the same rights to contribute to elections as a "natural person" does, we have BILLIONS of dollars being spent by Special Interest Groups - legal persons like Corporations and Labor Unions - to influence elections and public policy. And all the natural persons, like you and me, get to have less and less say each and every day.

I think the zoo industry is evil. They show us all these cute and cuddly creatures, all of them look so happy and furry and they just walk around all day long and eat and sleep and basically eat the best food an animal could ever dream of. For example, have you ever seen an elephant eating fajitas? How about an emu having a sundae? What about a koala bear smoking a cigarette? I know! All the time!

Anyways, I've never tried a panda burger or even a condor omellette, for that matter I've never even tasted a giraffe souffle. All I'm saying is, why do they have to rub our noses in it?

All industries are evil. Industries don't exist because people love to help each other out, industries exist because people have worked out that a task needs to be done, and if they have the skills to do the task they can get something.

The medical insurance industry, the medical industry and the prescription drug industries, in that order.

All of the above make money directly at people's expense. We trust these people to help us where it matters most (our health), and instead members of our society have been made sick, exploited and even killed (not allowing a person with cancer to get treatment because s/he can't afford it IS killing that person in effect) because of the greed of these industries.

The fashion industry isn't doing anything directly destructive. The finance industries again are only as bad as people will allow them to be. The health (and health insurance) industries are industries we cannot help businessing with at some point or another, and people have been hurt and killed so that people in these industries can make profits. It is sick and something needs to be done about this.

All industries are pretty ruthless. I hate supermarkets for all the tricks they pull while acting like they make your life easier. Oil and gas companies have alot to answer for, why isn't everyone home heated 24/7 in winter? why should the elderly die cos they can't afford their heating bills? It's insane that money comes before human rights and if it wasn't for oil companies monopolising car industries the cars we see today could be MUCH better designed, they could run without oil.
