Do you like pie?????

What is your favorite pie?

Thanks all for responding! Quite the ahhhh wide variety of pies. LOL I am hosting Thanksgiving this year, and needed some pie flavor ideas. I am not much of a pie fan... although, I may have a few bites of the chocolate pecan one I think I am going to bake. Knee is doing well thanks Hula. Not ready for a marathon, but much better.

Good day, Almost Sinful. How's the knee coming along?

Of course I love pie! I try to loose an extra ten pounds every summer so I can grotesquely gorge myself comes the holidays.

My favorite would have to be pumpkin, sweet potato, chocolate, and cherry pie.

I just love Gooseberry pie. There's somethng about the sharpe taste of gooseberries in a pie.

blueberry
and pinapple were always holiday pies when my mom cooked, they are all favorites.

the usual apple, and apple crumb, punkin', and lemon meruienge are what I enjoy making. A trifle is a great looking, and great tasting very easy dessert that gets a lot of oooh's and aaaah's.

My fav is peach pie. I can only make that in the summer tho BC I have to use sweet fresh picked peaches. Every so often I have to make a rhubarb pie just for something different.
If we are talking about "heavy" pies, you cant beat a pecan pie or a sweet potato with some home made vanilla ice cream....

Yes I love pie and chocolate pecan is one of my favs too, I also like blueberry, apple, raisin, lemon meringue, mud pie...so many to choose from...:D

I eat meat pies because I'm Australian. People living in Australia who are found to go more than 28 days without eating at least one meat pie get deported. True story.

Why don't you try something new and original--perhaps involving the use of cranberries. How about a pecan pie with dried cranberries (or pecan with cranberries with chocolate chunks) in it? Or a custard pie with a thin layer of cranberry compote on top? Or how about layers of cake with custard and cranberry gel filling--in the style of Boston Cream pie.

Yes I am a pie-a-holic and am now in pre-holiday diet mode trying to take off at least ten pounds, that I will enjoy putting back on eating pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and any other pie that is around. I never turn down pastry of any kind ;-)
