An honest person with speak the truth....even though they may not even drink....

I take it....someone who may drink and become drunk, will be beside themselves and alcohol will perhaps offer encouragement to become more outgoing and quite open and careless to a certain degree....

I would take anything a drunk person said with a grain of salt. True alcohol causes you to loose your inhibitions but it also distorts reality. I can vouch for the fact that I've said plenty o things I wish I could take back while drinking and they weren't necessarily the truth - just words spoken during a heightened emotional situation - whether good or bad. Needless to say, I stopped drinking years ago to prevent such embarrassments.

I never believe anything a drunk man/woman has to say while drunk.
Just wondering what the reason for this question.

Myth. Drunk people tell you what you want to hear and they are very aware of what they are saying. They suffer impaired judgement but they are very aware of what they say but to depend on a drunk would be your mistake. Rosey
